• The design cannot begin until all assets are received, including photos, copy and most importantly, the customer’s quote or cutline.
  • We need to allow at least 24 hours for design and the initial set of back-and-forth revisions.
  • We need to allow at least 24 hours for Compliance, approval by the bank customer featured, and approval by Fran.
  • We then need to allow at least 24 hours before deadline to submit the ad, so we’re not submitting it the same day, since there is always a revision needed approximately 1-2 hours after we submit the ad.

DEADLINE SUMMARY: All Assets need to be received 36 hours before the ad is due, which is considered very tight in industry standards.

So for a Tuesday 1PM deadline, all assets need to be received mid-day Thursday.

Key Points to Remember:

  • “Deep work” is efficient. Fragmented work is not.
  • Many small bits of communication = more project revisions = more time and more chance for error.
  • For each person involved in a project, they will need to put their individual “stamp” on it. ie: rewording a cutline.
